Cobscook Winter 10K/20K

Congratulations to all who showed up to today's First Club Race (classified as part running, part ice skating). First in the 10K: Nick Cowell (50:43) and Donna Kausen (1:05:*9 - the * can apparently represent any digit, she needs a new watch!). First in the 20K: Eric Mauricette -pulled by Loki (1:24:54) and Zoe - held back by John (1:44:22). Also appearing in the 10K Jonathan Aretakis (57:22 - with dubious timing arrangements involving stopping and restarting watches) and 20K Mike Powell (1:48:45) representing Canada. Brittany Mauricette was going to do a 5K but I think I messed up getting the results (sorry, Brittany, please send them to me). Many thanks to Manny, Ann and Nia Aretakis for their support. HAPPY NEW YEAR to all.
